January 26th news: General Secretary Xi Jinping attaches great importance to the construction of the 2022 Beijing Winter Olympics venues and the Beijing-Zhangjiakou High-speed Railway and other Winter Olympics transportation support projects. He recently inspected a number of Winter Olympics venues and Beijing-Zhangjiakou High-speed Railway Taizicheng Station and other projects, which attracted attention and heated discussions from all parties. What makes us proud is that the National Alpine Skiing Center, the National Bobsleigh and Luge Center, and the Beijing-Zhangjiakou High-speed Railway, which are key projects of the Winter Olympics, and the important transportation support project of the Winter Olympics, all have our "Yantai Smart Manufacturing" contributions. Nowadays, when we step into the Beijing-Zhangjiakou high-speed railway Taizicheng Station, Beijing North Station, Badaling Great Wall Station, Zhangjiakou Station and other high-speed railway stations, we can see the Polaris clock system that is highly integrated with the unique cultural atmosphere of the "100-year Beijing-Zhangjiakou" station. In the upcoming 2022 Winter Olympics, we will see the "100-year Polaris" and the dynamic and Chinese-inspired Winter Olympics venues go hand in hand again, showing the style of the times again, and cheering for the glorious moments of Olympic athletes from all countries!
All equipment supporting the Winter Olympics project are high-standard and high-quality equipment. With its excellent quality, advanced technology and comprehensive services, the Polaris clock system has stood out from many manufacturers at home and abroad after fierce competition and won bids many times. It has gone through complex and rigorous processes such as design, manufacturing, delivery, technology integration, joint debugging and testing with all intelligent communication equipment, inspection and acceptance, and safety assessment before being applied to the project.
With the opening of the Beijing-Zhangjiakou High-speed Railway on December 30, 2019, the Polaris clock system used in the project has withstood various tests and has been successfully opened and operated, providing 24-hour uninterrupted protection for the project. So far, the "Polaris" has accompanied the busy Beijing-Zhangjiakou High-speed Railway to provide more than 6.8 million passengers with one year of uninterrupted timekeeping services. In 2020, some clock equipment of the National Alpine Skiing Center and the National Bobsleigh and Luge Center projects undertaken by the Institute have been completed and delivered as scheduled, despite the impact of the epidemic. Other equipment will be delivered soon according to the project schedule. Work at all stages is proceeding in an intensive and orderly manner. In accordance with the strict requirements of the Winter Olympics project that "not a moment can be stopped, not a step can be wrong, and not a day can be delayed", all work is carried out in high coordination with the project progress to ensure that it is delivered and opened on time.
